Yes. From the Sign Up page, you just need to provide a valid email address, desired password and a few other information. A real picture and profile of you will be easier for your friends to find you. A valid email addres is very important as well for you to stay in touch with friends on Mobicue.

No. Mobicue is absolutely free. A mobile phone data plan is needed, and please consult with your local carriers for the exact pricing.

Mobicue updates could be any formats from your mobile phone, such as photos and videos that you just captured, a text that you just wrote. Updates can be sent to Mobicue via:
-Mobicue phone client software that is free to download and install on your mobile phone
-Mobicue website that is accessible from either your phone or personal computer browsers (mobicue.com)
-Emails to your confidential update email address that is automatically assigned after your registration with Mobicue

1.Set up an email account on your mobile phone, you will send out the text, pictures, and videos FROM this email account.
The setup process depends on different mobile phones. Please check out your mobile phone's user guide.

2.Save your mobicue email address on your mobile phone's address book. You will send out the text, pictures, and videos TO this email account.
- Your mobicue email address can be found on the phone's menu with "settings -> profile."
- The mobicue email is provided automatically after you register as a Mobicue member. The email address always goes with "@mobicue.com".
- Some mobile phones like iphone doesn't necessarily need to save mobicue email address on the address book. Once you type on the "To" box, the mobile phone automatically saves the email address and will be shown next time when you send the email.

3.Open the picture, video or audio you want to update, then choose "send via email."

4.Type your mobicue email address on the "To" box or select it from your phone address book when the email composing window pops up.

5.Choose a title for your update file or leave it blank on the subject line.
- Optional choice. If you leave it blank, the original file name will be showed as the title

6.Populate the email body as the description for your update file.
- Optional choice.

7.Send the email, the update file will be added up on your mobicue web right after the sending is finished8.If you send out an email without the attachment, the update will be a text.

There are 2 ways to communication with your friends about their updates:
-Precede any text update with @displayname. it will be considered as a text update for you both
-Go to any media update and reply to friends. The replies will be considered as new text updates for you both directing to the specific media update

Mobicue brings you closer to your family members, friends and even co-workers. The more updates sharing with your friends, the easier and closer you stay in touch with them. You can send invites by going to Invite & Find page and choosing the way you like the most. Your friends will then be able to see the updates when they sign up in Mobicue.

As a Mobicue user, you can simply receiving your friends' updates by following them. Your followers are those who have selected to receive your updates for their interest. As long as you two become mutual followers, you can start text communicating and media file exchanging

When you poke your friends, you will remind your friends to update by an email notification.

When you sign up for Mobicue, your updates can be viewed by any Mobicue member. If you choose to protect your updates in settings page, only your mutually followed friends will receive them. It's really up to you.
